I agree with everything.

I like your description of Fridays.

Also, finding our tribe is utterly important especially in the US now. Cheers.

Thanks Robert. Friday is my favourite day, well most Fridays, just not that one.

I had a similar experience where one morning I was woken up at 4.30am for the day by the baby and uncharacteristically turned on the news. Error. They were interviewing the head of the German military who said they are increasing spending and building their reservists for the impending war. When my husband woke up, I anxiously told him that the Germans think there will be a war and he said, ‘We’re already in it.’ Sending light and solidarity.

Not to add more anxiety to things but I'm refering to the last 60 days as America's Blitzkreig not unlike Hitlers. Donald Trump has no original ideas he just steals from someone else and adds his own demonic spin. Wouldn't it be amazing if there was someone who used his personal ability to actually make everybody's lives better wherever they came from and what belief's we have.

I still am someone who believes that all of this will correct and there will be a cleansing of this corrupted state. There is hope that his supporters will start doing the math and see how much he is costing them in real life. That his promises are hollow sound bites and not meant to improve their lives and actually makes them less secure.

I'm out of touch with people who live in houses.

As hard as it easy to be living in a vehicle, I don't have the fear of losing a job, a roof, fearing for the lives of young children.

I also do not have TV. That means that the constantly shifting news can't blow me off course. I fact check the post I read, often finding them partially true or terrifying accurate.

Thank you for this post. I wish I could fix this for everyone.

I’m so fed up. I’m so afraid for my children and grandchildren. My nieces and nephew.

Powerfully put, Rebecca.

I found myself wanting to write some kind of response, too, and turned to family/world history, as I think we’re in danger of forgetting the lessons of the past.

Absolutely Wendy. Fascism seems to be back in fashion. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed, but I am convinced it’s the small things that will fuel us for the fight back.

It is Amy but I’ve got strong arms, a big heart, a sharp tongue (and a dodgy back)… I should just about make it.

Besides, I found a wonderful new tribe on Wednesday evening 😉. They lifted my spirits no end! ❤️

Thanks Susan. At 73 you have enough life experience to be the kind of fighter that is needed. The vigour and energy of the young combined with the wisdom and determination of the older generation is the perfect combination… look after yourself but never give up hope… you have managed 73 years, you have enough resilience for what’s to come.
